Try this simple test to find out if Google knows about your site:

1. Go to Google

2. Search on your website's address as illustrated below

3. Check if your website is featured in the results

Results & interpretation

We have used Google to search for your web address. This will find out if Google knows about your site. Why have we done this ?

Google will either:

a) List your site
List pages from your site indicating Google already knows of your website.

Excellent! - Let's move onto the next step

b) Your search - <Your URL> - did not match any documents.

Oh oh ! we have a fundamental problem here.

If Google doesn't know about your website - then your website is invisible to search.
Prospective clients will never find your site unless they already know your website address.
